FI

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

FI

my wedding ring fits again after 7 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight

i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about

update on the earlier thing careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two, ymmv

somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance

RL

update on the earlier thing bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting

PM

the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available, your mileage will differ

PM

the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part

RL

blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence

PM

congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother

TT

coming back after 22 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody

TT

a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it

FM

first month done. posting the numbers because everyone told me to write them down and they were right

KF

thats a completely normal month one and the waist number is the interesting one

📈8
KF

3cm off the waist against 2.3kg means something moved that isnt just water

FM

week 2 flat and you panicked. welcome, thats the whole ritual

told myself it wasnt working, id wasted the money, the usual script

OD

someone in here asked me what the scale did on my worst day versus my best day in the same week

it was 1.8kg apart. same week. i was reading noise as failure

-19.2kg

FM

from nine days off at week 3 to that. put it in the archive

OD

the shape of it, month by month, because month 1 looked like nothing

MonthDoseLoss that monthCumulative
10.25 mg-1.6 kg-1.6 kg
20.5 mg-4.1 kg-5.7 kg
30.5 mg-3.8 kg-9.5 kg
41.0 mg-3.0 kg-12.5 kg
51.0 mg-2.4 kg-14.9 kg
61.0 mg-4.3 kg-19.2 kg
FM

month 5 is slower than month 4 and month 6 is the biggest. thats not a curve at all

ST

i keep a 7 day average and only look at the average. changed my whole relationship with the thing

ST

i weigh daily and never read the number, i type it in and close the app. sounds insane, works

FM

typing a number without reading it is a genuine skill

OD

for me it cost me the side effects again on restart. nine days at that half-life is not nothing

OD

i restarted at the same dose which in hindsight i would not do again. thats a me lesson, not advice

CH

the honest version of a win post is worth ten polished ones. thanks for both of these
