did OASIS use the same fasting conditions as the earlier work

- no_appetite_nia — is the absorption variability why the oral doses look so high 22:20
- VialBot — New independent result logged — KP, lot F-1330, purity 99.2% (PeptideMeter). 22:55
- hr_log_hattie — the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted 23:32
- thirty_min_wait — why is the oral dose in mg so much bigger than the injectable one 23:38
- typosquat_tay — i said 1 months ago that my oral results were random, they got consistent once i fixed the water 23:49
is the absorption variability why the oral doses look so high
went back to injecting
how long before the oral did anything measurable for you
orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ, ymmv
is orforglipron a peptide at all
the oral mg number is bigger because almost none of it gets in, thats the entire reason
took mine with breakfast once by accident and that week was a write off
does SNAC do anything other than get it through the stomach
how much water exactly, is it a small sip or half a glass
fasted every morning
went back to injecting because the morning routine was too fragile around shift work
not a peptide
SNAC raises the local pH and protects it long enough to cross, thats its whole job
mine was patchy too
PIONEER not OASIS
one percent is the number people quote and the spread around it is the actual story
my oral results were inconsistent week to week and i eventually decided it was me, not the tablet
set a timer
coffee doesnt count
New independent result logged — KP, lot F-1330, purity 99.2% (PeptideMeter).
the fasting window is the difference between a dose and a very expensive tablet
took 11 weeks before i saw anything on oral, roughly twice what the injection took me
big mg small dose
sorry to jump in did anyone go back to injecting after trying oral
thirty minutes, no cheating
is the non peptide thing why orforglipron doesnt need the fasting rules
[edited]SNAC does the work
PIONEER was the original oral semaglutide programme and OASIS looked at the higher oral doses, not advice obviously
right so lost 37kg over 4 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway, your mileage will differ
ruined my breakfast
did anyone find the oral easier on the gut than the injection
OASIS ran under the same sort of fasting conditions, thats not the variable between the two
how strict is the 30 minute wait before food for people here
the 30 minutes starts when you swallow it, and i set a timer because i cannot be trusted
the non peptide orals are the interesting part of this channel now, not oral semaglutide
why is the oral dose in mg so much bigger than the injectable one
splitting a dose made the absorption problem worse rather than better in my own log
anyone switched from injectable to oral and kept the same effect
[edited]i said 1 months ago that my oral results were random, they got consistent once i fixed the water
genuine question is there any point splitting an oral dose
