Highlights from this day
  • night_pin — slightly off topic but held at 2 for 6 months on monotherapy before i touched it again, someone check my working 07:41
  • night_pin — i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me 09:56
  • verify_or_dont — noticed something around week 25 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to lost 103lb over 16 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it 10:53
GG

€120 for a 2 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses

TS

dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 19 months, appetite held but weight barely moved

GG

the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair

GG

its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake

TS

i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which

TS

back after 26 months, is monotherapy still a minority thing here

GG

the reason nausea reads differently is timing, mine arrived on the second day rather than the first

GG

monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work

PF

the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule

NP

if youre used to GLP-1 titration steps this feels absurdly cautious and i still do it that way

slightly off topic but held at 2 for 6 months on monotherapy before i touched it again, someone check my working

Cagrilintide monotherapy, dose ranging. The combination trials came later.
NP

i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me

💀6⚠️10

follow up weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit

TS

slightly off topic but CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it

i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 19 months im still sceptical, just less so

VO

the nausea felt different rather than less, more fullness and less of the queasy wave

P2

added it to an existing tirzepatide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible

VO

noticed something around week 25 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to
lost 103lb over 16 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it
