i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about
bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting
resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know
how do you say youre pleased in here without it sounding like an advert
down 33 since 19 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at
i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls
i was down 13 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure
a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it
i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny
thats a big drop
[edited]careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two
anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself
quick one nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 16 now
slow is fine
keep going
follow up how do you celebrate this without it being about food
my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial
congrats
i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything, n of 1 obviously

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance
down 79 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine, your mileage will differ
love this channel
blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets

my wedding ring fits again after 24 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight
congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother
how long did it take before you believed it was actually working
somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me
honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug
what non scale thing surprised you most
SURPASS-2 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better
still here at month 14
the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much
the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was
coming back after 10 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody
youre allowed to be pleased
unrelated but repeat sleep study came back better, has anyone else moved out of the range they were in
*Janoshik not the other one
the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was
for the archive 10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month
