Highlights from this day
  • chlorhex — careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two, i have it written down somewhere 20:09
  • chlorhex — blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets 20:12
  • vialkeeper — honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug 46 down in 3 months and honestly the stairs were the bit… 20:35
  • vialkeeper — is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect 20:36
GG

went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win

GG

slow is fine

does anyone else keep one pair of old jeans purely as a measuring device

VI

the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available

VI

resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know, we shall see

went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

[edited]

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug
46 down in 3 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect

GG

i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls

GG

right so SURPASS-2 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better

the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much

good bp move

brilliant a1c

CH

i was down 47 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure

*that should say weekly

SH

follow up i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust

coming back after 5 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody

still here at month 14

CC

my knees stopped hurting around 9 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage

what non scale thing surprised you most

II

bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting
