Highlights from this day
  • maintenance_mo — i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls 14:51
  • maintenance_mo — cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night 14:53
  • maintenance_mo — anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself 15:01
  • hair_month_four — blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence 16:37
  • maintenance_mo — right so size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop 19:23

down 33 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine, still working it out

week three nearly finished me and im at month 19 now, does anyone want the boring version

NH

cpap pressure got turned down last week, has that happened for anyone
the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going

JJ

repeat sleep study came back better, has anyone else moved out of the range they were in

NH

somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me, thats one data point

thats not showing off

slow is fine

HM

the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available

youre allowed to be pleased

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug

PS

29 down in 12 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

thats brilliant

i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny

MM

anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself

Inter-lab diff for lot F-1330: 98.1% vs 96.8%. Within expected range.

MG

quick one my wedding ring fits again after 1 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight

CS

genuine question bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting

CS

my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same

*PeptideMeter not the other one

how long did it take before you believed it was actually working

HM

blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence

JJ

went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

kept 35 of it off for 3 months now and that is the number i am actually proud of

went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win

i want to say something in here but im worried about sounding like im showing off

❤️1

the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much, i think

FM

down 84 and the scale hasnt moved in a fortnight, do i still get to call it a win

GG

SURMOUNT-1 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better

JJ

resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know

🧪2📉1
GG

hit 33 down this morning and im sat here not really feeling anything, is that normal
no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do

thats a big drop

how do you celebrate this without it being about food

GG

i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything

brilliant a1c

genuine question the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part

HM

somebody talked me out of quitting at week three and i never said thank you properly

HM

congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother

GG

coming back after 18 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody

MM

right so size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop

📉1🧊5⚠️15

is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect

PS

blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets
