i overclaimed early on in here, got gently corrected, and i deserved it

MS

cpap pressure got turned down last week, has that happened for anyone

NW

went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win, happy to be corrected

MS

genuine question down 50 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine

TT

genuine question congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother

the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part

MS

my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial

no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do

my knees stopped hurting around 29 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage

TM

blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets

TM

cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night

i nearly quit too

SS

i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny

is there a point where you stop weighing daily

SURMOUNT-1 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better

youre allowed to be pleased

i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything

SS

somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me

KK

went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence

thats not showing off

AA

resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know

KK

my wedding ring fits again after 15 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight

KK

34 down in 14 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

down 41 and my resting heart rate dropped 8 bpm, related or not

WT

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug
nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 19 now

NW

please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it, your mileage will differ

NW

the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was, ymmv

NW

size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop

HM

i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going, anyway
