TY

size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop

40 down in 26 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

🙏4

i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did, someone check my working

RL

i want to say something in here but im worried about sounding like im showing off

i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about

RL

down 59 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine

the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much

GG

somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me, n of 1 obviously
half a stone in 26 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening

NE

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance

🤝1👀7🔥4

coming back to this nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 22 now

NE

the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available

NE

the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was, ill dig out the number

youre allowed to be pleased

TL

cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night

RL

SURMOUNT-OSA reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better

how do you say youre pleased in here without it sounding like an advert

i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust

down 28 and my resting heart rate dropped 2 bpm, related or not

TY

a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it

thats the win

NE

update on the earlier thing i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls

first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point

QH

the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part
i overclaimed early on in here, got gently corrected, and i deserved it

resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know

TY

sorry to jump in brilliant a1c
the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much

slightly off topic but went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win

sorry to jump in my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same

i was down 33 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure

BF

bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting
