#wins 2025-04-14
- cmp_baseline — nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 21 now 14:28
- LC_MS_Lena — repeat sleep study came back better, has anyone else moved out of the range they were in 15:40
- cmp_baseline — resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before… 15:43
- cmp_baseline — for the archive a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything 15:48
- sgp_subq — went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win 17:28
the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance
nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 21 now
my wedding ring fits again after 19 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight
coming back after 23 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody
cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night
*Janoshik not the other one
thats not showing off
honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug
my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same
repeat sleep study came back better, has anyone else moved out of the range they were in
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know
bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting
what non scale thing surprised you most
thats brilliant
for the archive a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything
anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself
sorry to jump in how do you celebrate this without it being about food
i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny
a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it
no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do
first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point
8 down in 5 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale
i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about
went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win
my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial
ring fitting is the best one
months not weeks
down 6 since 7 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at
