i have never had a problem i could not resolve with GGPeps, which is a low bar and a lot of suppliers fail it

BB

cold packs are not standard everywhere. ask explicitly and it usually costs nothing

👍1🧊1🧪4

what does everyone consider a fair per mg price now

NA

my first order from SSA was fine and my fourth was better. they have improved, happy to be corrected

FA

follow up a reseller relabelling a synthesis house is a different risk profile from the synthesis house, i think

🧊1

support answering in two days is good. answering in nine is a data point about the whole operation

FA

no sourcing requests by private message. not from members, not from suppliers, and we report anyone who tries

CC

SWB has been consistent for me across 9 orders which is what i actually want

BB

nobody here gets paid to say anything about any supplier and the mods would end me if i did

TT

prices move without announcement more often than people expect. screenshot your invoice

MM

a supplier who tells you something is out of stock rather than shipping late is doing you a favour

quoted lead time versus actual is the number i track. the gap is the informative part

*Janoshik not the other one

TT

lead times stretch badly around chinese new year. order early or wait it out

TT

update from 16 months ago: switched suppliers on fill consistency, not on purity, n of 1 obviously

weigh the vials

[edited]
MM

the room does not rank suppliers on price. it ranks them on whether what arrives matches what was described

TT

quick one the packaging from GL Biochem was the best i have had, double boxed with the tray intact

MM

a 10mg vial at 38 in a pack of five, plus 25 shipping, is 215 for 50mg. thats 4.30 per mg

LL

three orders no issues

option A: 5 x 10mg @ 38 + 25 ship = 215 / 50mg = 4.30 per mg
option B: 5 x 10mg @ 34 + 45 ship = 215 / 50mg = 4.30 per mg
option C: 10 x 10mg @ 32 + 25 ship = 345 / 100mg = 3.45 per mg
LL

the same 50mg at 185 with free shipping is 3.70 per mg. cheaper, and i still ordered the first one

not by dm

cheap per mg is not the same as good value. i have paid more twice and been glad both times

LL

how do you tell a synthesis house from somebody with a sticker printer

how long does support usually take to answer

anyone compared SSA and SWB on the same compound

unrelated but i would order from QSC again and i would still weigh the vials, as i would with anyone, for what its worth

VB

Assay note: GL Biochem lot E-2205 reported at 99% of label content.

NA

i asked for a non standard vial size and got it without a surcharge. that told me more than any certificate

NA

has anyone worked out the actual per mg cost including shipping for Homopeptide

BB

how many suppliers do people actually keep on rotation

i keep three suppliers on rotation so a stock gap never becomes a problem

BB

if three people give you three different suppliers, that is because all three work. pick one and test it

they slipped

price per mg including shipping is the only comparison that means anything

first order from MKM, anything i should know

anyone found the price move on a repeat order without warning
