5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me, ymmv

the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number

the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so

ok so i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 2 months at 7.5 not needing more

SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial

while im here back after 6 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off

start low anyway

i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me

the 2 vial in 5ml gives 5mg/ml which puts 10 on 25 units, nice round numbers

there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing, anyway

switched from 2 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

*2ml not 2.5

restarted at 2.5 after 10 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists

PC

SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up
switched from 15 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

CP

SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted

went back to semaglutide after 4 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI

[edited]

how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you

sorry to jump in did going from 1.7 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone

PC

at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that

coming off semaglutide, is there a conversion or do i restart at 2.5

PC

12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later, not advice obviously
