the sweet spot thing is survivorship, the people it worked for stayed and said so

- five_mg_ml — SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted 14:19
- customs_owl — 40 units of a 5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time 14:20
- gip_glp_gil — whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different 14:23
- gip_glp_gil — held 10 for 17 months and lost 38kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine 14:31
- five_mg_ml — the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact, i think 16:23
went back to semaglutide after 2 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI

the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
40 units of a 5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
easier gi for me
whats the plateau pattern here, same as semaglutide or different
dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line
held 10 for 17 months and lost 38kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
titrate slow
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later
update on the earlier thing 5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
SURMOUNT is weight
the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact, i think
did anybody switch back to semaglutide after trying this
the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 15, your mileage will differ
slightly off topic but is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects

no clean conversion
quick one plateaued at 27 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
[edited]*week 22 not week 9
did going from 2.5 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone
