Highlights from this day
  • ruo_only — went back to semaglutide after 14 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI, thats just me 19:43
  • ruo_only — did going from 15 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone 19:57
  • quiet.hours — i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did, take that with a pinch of salt 20:00
  • warsaw_vial — the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 19 20:04
  • warsaw_vial — is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule 20:25
RO

switched from 2 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
plateaued at 11 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific

for the archive the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact

no clean conversion

RO

how many weeks at 7.5 before you knew it was enough
dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line

at 1 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win

🎉1

held 10 for 3 months and lost 35kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine, i could be wrong

same plateau here

WV

right so the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found

RO

QH

is the sweet spot argument about effect or about side effects

i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did, take that with a pinch of salt

WV

the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar

the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 19

🙏1📉8🤝2

the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works

is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule

QH

the 20 vial in 5ml gives 4mg/ml which puts 5 on 5 units, nice round numbers

*mg/ml, obviously

i argued the sweet spot was nonsense and then spent 2 months at 7.5 not needing more, i could be wrong

WV

sorry to jump in plateaued at 6 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later

WV

there is no clean conversion between the two, anyone giving you a ratio is guessing

10 was enough
