Highlights from this day
  • a1c_lag — eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me 16:54
  • eight_mm — i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free, not advice obviously 17:25
  • a1c_lag — is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea 17:32
  • slow.taper — the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses 19:25
MC

site itching is common and rotation fixed it for most people i have seen post about it

TS

electrolytes made more difference to my fatigue than anything else i tried

MC

im at week 5 and eating maybe 900 calories without trying to, is that a problem

EM

let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging

EM

escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose

rotate the site

nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases

magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

TS

while im here how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern

MC

is the nausea meant to be worst around day 7 or is that just me

ST

anyone had the fatigue turn out to be something boring like not drinking enough

MC

has anyone had reflux specifically get worse rather than better

📉1🎉4
HM

coming back to this reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

is there a reason nausea is worse if i skip breakfast

same at week 3

ST

quick one right upper side pain on and off for a week, should i be worried

ST

the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses

WZ

has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose
i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern

TS

powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it

HM

severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question

dont push through

slightly off topic but ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at
