Highlights from this day
  • vial_ledger — severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question 21:25
  • abdo_two_inch — has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose 21:39
  • abdo_two_inch — magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption 22:00
  • gradient_greg — if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline 23:35
VL

escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose

new severe right upper quadrant pain after fast weight loss is a get seen situation, not advice obviously

the dose day matters more than the dose for the GI stuff, at least for me
magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

NS

update from 12 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely, from memory

taste changes settled for me around week eight and never fully came back

genuine question my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline

protein

NP

if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line

genuine question, at what point does this stop being tolerable and start being a reason to stop

powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it

VL

the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing

nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking

severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question

week 14 and still nauseous, at what point is this not going to settle

VL

ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at

ST

if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals

has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose

🤝6🧊10

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating, ymmv

ST

dropping back a rung for a fortnight is a completely legitimate move

whats actually worked for anyone on the constipation, ive tried everything

AT

let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging, anyway

i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free

eat more

NP

unrelated but anyone get properly wiped out for a day or two after the dose

NT

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern
