- LC_MS_Lena — STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping 18:22
- LC_MS_Lena — dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters 18:24
- orfor_watch — while im here brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel 19:45
- holly_holds — five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable,… 19:47
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure, n of 1 obviously
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgheld there too
[edited]SELECT wasnt weight
did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
thats STEP 1
give it four weeks
lost about 26kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me, someone check my working
anyone compared their 8 vial dosing against the pen increments
[edited]changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
while im here brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgfive week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
slower worked better
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 5, which is one person and nothing more
im 2 months in at 10 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
the appetite effect faded for me around 18 months and going up fixed it for a while
is the plateau at 18 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
steady state takes weeks
6 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
i held at 2 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made
seven days ish
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
