EO

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

EO

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it, n of 1 obviously

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

[edited]
EO

coming back to this the plateau hit me at 4 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

EO

restarted after 23 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

seven days ish

T5

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

T5

slightly off topic but steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing, thats just me

🧪2

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

VV

slightly off topic but anyone gone from 2 straight to 7.5 or is that too big a jump

🙏5
EO

held at 10 and lost 11lb over 14 months, slower than the trials and fine by me, take that with a pinch of salt

VV

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

GG

slower worked better

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

Trial scheduleWhat most people here do
Step interval4 weeks, fixed4-12 weeks, on symptoms
Holdingprotocol deviationnormal and expected
Top dosereached by designoften never reached
Coming downnot studiedcommon at maintenance

SELECT wasnt weight

GG

did anybody find a difference between QST and pharmacy at the same 0.25

BB

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

SS

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

BB

im 2 months in at 7.5 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing

SS

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 0.5, which is one person and nothing more

SS

update on the earlier thing im at 10 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

give it four weeks

BB

my Janoshik report on the JEEP vial came back 99.2 against a certificate saying 99.4

the appetite effect faded for me around 26 months and going up fixed it for a while

BB

3 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

BB

i stayed on 1.7 for 16 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

GG

right so my 30 vial in 1ml gives 10mg/ml so 1 lands on 10 units, thats why i picked that volume

EO

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

CO

update on the earlier thing dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

CO

unrelated but i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
