Highlights from this day
  • gip_glp_gil — steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing 14:33
  • fake_tracking — i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that 15:20
  • ari_arrives — half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose 18:30

sorry to jump in vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

FA

for the archive the appetite effect faded for me around 22 months and going up fixed it for a while, ill dig out the number

genuine question anyone compared their 4 vial dosing against the pen increments

$240 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

FA

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters, from memory

FA

my 10 vial in 0.5ml gives 10mg/ml so 10 lands on 10 units, thats why i picked that volume

TW

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

GG

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
TW

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

GG

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

did anybody find a difference between ERP and pharmacy at the same 2.5

FT

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

held at 0.5 and lost 68lb over 7 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

slower worked better

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything

CO

10 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

PP

seven days ish

Digest for the week of 2026-01-04 has been published.

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

follow up the plateau hit me at 13 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

AA

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

held there too

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

FT

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, ymmv

was STEP 1 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

AA

genuine question how many weeks before you noticed anything at 15

AA

i stayed on 1.7 for 13 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it, i have it written down somewhere
