4 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

is the plateau at 15 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
im at 0.25 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
how many weeks before you noticed anything at 1.7
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
not the same trial
slower worked better
[edited]is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

my VendorInvestigate report on the BCH vial came back 99.4 against a certificate saying 97.4
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
plateaus move
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
*PeptideMeter not the other one
lost about 46kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
same dose day
follow up STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
i stayed on 1.7 for 3 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
£240 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgdid anyone hold at 1 longer than four weeks before going up
how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
thats STEP 1
the plateau hit me at 24 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
how long did the first 16kg take for people at the low doses
restarted after 13 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step, ymmv
back after 11 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
Reminder set. I will post here in 9 days.
sorry to jump in licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip, not advice obviously
does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
steady state takes weeks
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing, your mileage will differ
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1.7, which is one person and nothing more
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
did anybody find a difference between WXT and pharmacy at the same 2.4
thats STEP 1
sorry to jump in how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
vials not pens here
the appetite effect faded for me around 7 months and going up fixed it for a while, anyway
sorry to jump in went too fast once
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, happy to be corrected
seven days ish

give it four weeks
