Highlights from this day
  • wick_weighs — i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication, your mileage will differ 18:07
  • protein_floor — brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel 18:46
  • taipei_tare — the plateau hit me at 9 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change 19:30
  • taipei_tare — dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters 19:39
JJ

right so lost about 11kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

CS

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

[edited]

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

🧊5

does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four

CC

the appetite effect faded for me around 1 months and going up fixed it for a while

🎉3👀4🧪2

slightly off topic but FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

mine faded too

📉11🎉181

held there too

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

SELECT wasnt weight

Trial scheduleWhat most people here do
Step interval4 weeks, fixed4-12 weeks, on symptoms
Holdingprotocol deviationnormal and expected
Top dosereached by designoften never reached
Coming downnot studiedcommon at maintenance

while im here went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, ask me again in a month

TL

my PeptideMeter report on the HJ vial came back 98.1 against a certificate saying 96.8

CC

right so vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

coming back to this the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

thats STEP 1

PF

restarted after 3 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

WW

does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one

TL

slightly off topic but was STEP 1 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

PF

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1.7, which is one person and nothing more

anyone gone from 12 straight to 5 or is that too big a jump

held at 1 and lost 73lb over 8 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
€94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4

TT

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

[edited]

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

the plateau hit me at 9 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

im at 5 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up

€94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

SS

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
