Highlights from this day
  • back_from_away — went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step 20:26
  • hydrate_hana — the plateau hit me at 22 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change, anyway i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it… 20:32
  • egfr_ed — STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it 20:57
MU

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose, ask me again in a month

VB

Inter-lab diff for lot SG-1177: 97.4% vs 98.1%. Within expected range.

OW

OW

update on the earlier thing i held at 0.25 for 9 months and it was the best decision i made, thats just me

does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

MU

sorry to jump in 21 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

VB

Verification log updated: QYB — evidence added, status unchanged.

BF

for the archive FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

BF

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four

HH

the plateau hit me at 22 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change, anyway
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

EE

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

restarted after 10 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time, happy to be corrected

EE

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

slower worked better

same dose day

seven days ish

OW

quick one was STEP 4 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

BF

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping, not advice obviously

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

BF

i stayed on 1.7 for 25 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it, for what its worth

ok so the appetite effect faded for me around 13 months and going up fixed it for a while, anyway
