  • sharps_bin_sid — ok so did anyone hold at 1 longer than four weeks before going up i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication 19:36
  • motivation_gone — 5 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half 19:48
SB

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4

🤝8👍176

did anybody find a difference between SSA and pharmacy at the same 15

CO

genuine question the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip, i could be wrong

CO

while im here my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

MG

right so moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

5 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

💀16

follow up restarted after 8 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

VV

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

mine faded too

slower worked better

VV

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

IM

my 5 vial in 5ml gives 8mg/ml so 5 lands on 15 units, thats why i picked that volume

1

same dose day

right so SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

steady state takes weeks

IM

unrelated but STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it, thats just me

*that should say weekly

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing, someone check my working

$94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

AO

for the archive vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

lost about 21kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

SELECT wasnt weight

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

my Janoshik report on the QSC vial came back 99.4 against a certificate saying 98.6

plateaus move

🧪1👀1

five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

PF

update on the earlier thing whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

not the same trial

PF

the appetite effect faded for me around 3 months and going up fixed it for a while

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

VV

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

€55 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything

HL

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2, which is one person and nothing more

NN

does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

⚠️53💀6

i stayed on 1.7 for 23 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
