sorry to jump in i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

while im here i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

plateaus move

GG

i held at 1.7 for 3 months and it was the best decision i made, i have it written down somewhere

lost about 29kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

GG

coming back to this moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

sorry to jump in does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four

📈3🔥4🙏1

*week 33 not week 9

SD

ok so i stayed on 1.7 for 12 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

AA

anyone gone from 1.7 straight to 7.5 or is that too big a jump
restarted after 3 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

the plateau hit me at 18 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

*Janoshik not the other one

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

same dose day

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

[edited]

five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

SS

follow up whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

😂17
NP

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

HH

restarted after 15 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

😂3📈3

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

OW

did anybody find a difference between SSA and pharmacy at the same 1.7

*PeptideMeter not the other one

does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

AO

my 40 vial in 1ml gives 5mg/ml so 0.25 lands on 10 units, thats why i picked that volume

🤝6
GG

the appetite effect faded for me around 22 months and going up fixed it for a while, ill dig out the number

🎉17😂12
AA

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

⚠️4

how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

AA

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

SS

is the plateau at 20 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

im at 2.5 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up

update on the earlier thing 17 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

SS

update on the earlier thing SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

ES

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

GB

€120 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials, from memory
the appetite effect faded for me around 7 months and going up fixed it for a while

HL

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

give it four weeks

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
HL

coming back to this im 3 months in at 2 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing

🔥1⚠️5

vials not pens here

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
