Highlights from this day
  • u100_pat — update on the earlier thing does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one 15:24
  • quiet.hours — the plateau hit me at 34 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change 15:35
  • egfr_ed — changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels 16:56
  • night_pin — anyone gone from 2.4 straight to 0.5 or is that too big a jump restarted after 5 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time 18:15
QH

is the plateau at 14 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong

EE

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

NP

restarted after 25 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

QH

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

my VendorInvestigate report on the SSA vial came back 98.6 against a certificate saying 99

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

U1

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

QH

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

unrelated but the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

U1

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

BB

my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything

EE

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

A1

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

A1

held at 12 and lost 26lb over 14 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

EE

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

EE

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker

A1

right so does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four

A1

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

NP

anyone compared their 10 vial dosing against the pen increments

NP

anyone gone from 2.4 straight to 0.5 or is that too big a jump
restarted after 5 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

BN

i stayed on 1.7 for 24 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

BN

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

U1

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

U1

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

BF

genuine question the appetite effect faded for me around 14 months and going up fixed it for a while

BB

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers, take that with a pinch of salt

BF

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
