while im here did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
#semaglutide 2025-07-22
- cold_chain_cmdr — held at 2.4 and lost 60lb over 20 months, slower than the trials and fine by me 14:32
- blank_run — my Medutest report on the QST vial came back 97.4 against a certificate saying 98.1, happy to be corrected 14:36
- igf_one_ivy — slightly off topic but the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing 16:15
- sulphur_burp — 20 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half 16:19
- sulphur_burp — did anybody find a difference between GL Biochem and pharmacy at the same 1 16:22
sorry to jump in the plateau hit me at 19 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
26 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
held at 2.4 and lost 60lb over 20 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
not the same trial
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
my Medutest report on the QST vial came back 97.4 against a certificate saying 98.1, happy to be corrected
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
back after 10 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, ymmv
[edited]how many weeks before you noticed anything at 12
thats STEP 1
genuine question does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
plateaus move
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem, anyway
im 17 months in at 1 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing
right so i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
slightly off topic but the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
20 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
did anybody find a difference between GL Biochem and pharmacy at the same 1
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
[edited]restarted after 15 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
slightly off topic but does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
anyone compared their 2.5 vial dosing against the pen increments
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
while im here i held at 10 for 5 months and it was the best decision i made
how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
