Highlights from this day
  • VialBot — Verification log updated: GGPeps — evidence added, status unchanged. 11:39
  • tenpence — i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that 12:05
  • mg_per_ml — €72 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials 12:30
  • stack_sceptic — the appetite effect faded for me around 4 months and going up fixed it for a while 13:21
  • low_and_slow — does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one 16:10

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

anyone compared their 2 vial dosing against the pen increments

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure, i could be wrong

Verification log updated: GGPeps — evidence added, status unchanged.

Inter-lab diff for lot SG-1177: 98.6% vs 96.8%. Within expected range.

TE

the plateau hit me at 34 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

not the same trial

TE

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

😂1📈4💀11

my 5 vial in 2ml gives 10mg/ml so 10 lands on 30 units, thats why i picked that volume

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

TE

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

MP

whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

€72 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

MP

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

VB

Digest for the week of 2024-11-29 has been published.

RF

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
the plateau hit me at 7 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

SS

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

right so my VendorInvestigate report on the GL Biochem vial came back 99 against a certificate saying 99.4

went too fast once

SS

the appetite effect faded for me around 4 months and going up fixed it for a while

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

unrelated but changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

vials not pens here

MP

ok so how long did the first 48kg take for people at the low doses
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

RF

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

RF

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

CO

back after 13 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher

CO

i stayed on 1.7 for 12 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

TF

held at 2.4 and lost 36lb over 26 months, slower than the trials and fine by me, still working it out

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it, ill dig out the number

LA

does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one

LA

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

🧪1📉6

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip, your mileage will differ

OW

restarted after 17 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

thats STEP 1

seven days ish

give it four weeks

*week 4 not week 3
