sorry to jump in is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4

🙏6🧪2

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2.4, which is one person and nothing more

CP

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

[edited]

sorry to jump in if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule, anyway

*Medutest not the other one

2.4 is the ceiling

was SURMOUNT-OSA the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

OW

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, anyway

lost about 44kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

OW

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

HH

restarted after 6 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

MO

did anybody find a difference between QST and pharmacy at the same 12

HH

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

SS

5 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

MO

five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

same dose day

steady state takes weeks

SS

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

held there too

genuine question back after 2 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

VB

Assay note: GL Biochem lot B-0329 reported at 98.6% of label content.

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
NA

my 30 vial in 2ml gives 8mg/ml so 0.5 lands on 10 units, thats why i picked that volume
held at 10 and lost 92lb over 11 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

the plateau hit me at 3 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

MO

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week

GG

anyone compared their 10 vial dosing against the pen increments
€55 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

thats STEP 1
