- taper_or_not — for the archive does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four 19:18
- group_buy_gwen — held at 2 and lost 33lb over 15 months, slower than the trials and fine by me 20:14
- u100_pat — back after 24 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing 21:16
for the archive does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
give it four weeks
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
mine faded too
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mganyone gone from 2.4 straight to 0.25 or is that too big a jump
seven days ish
held there too
for the archive how long did the first 28kg take for people at the low doses
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
2.4 is the ceiling
my 10 vial in 3ml gives 5mg/ml so 10 lands on 5 units, thats why i picked that volume
held at 2 and lost 33lb over 15 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
not the same trial
im at 0.5 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
went too fast once
coming back to this steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing, thats one data point
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me, from memory
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
i stayed on 1.7 for 19 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
for the archive did anyone hold at 1 longer than four weeks before going up
right so my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
sorry to jump in STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
my VendorInvestigate report on the ERP vial came back 99 against a certificate saying 98.6
back after 24 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
i held at 1 for 9 months and it was the best decision i made
steady state takes weeks
follow up did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
im 14 months in at 10 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
the appetite effect faded for me around 19 months and going up fixed it for a while
how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
vials not pens here
€185 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
SELECT wasnt weight
