give it four weeks
#semaglutide 2024-12-17
- lot_number_lou — did anyone hold at 2.4 longer than four weeks before going up i held at 12 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made 22:27
- lot_number_lou — ok so is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4 22:31
- a1c_lag — does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one 22:32
- lot_number_lou — is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping 23:15
- half_life_hal — anyone compared their 5 vial dosing against the pen increments 23:19
restarted after 6 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
did anyone hold at 2.4 longer than four weeks before going up
i held at 12 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made
update on the earlier thing did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
ok so is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
quick one my VendorInvestigate report on the FGP vial came back 98.6 against a certificate saying 96.8
quick one how many weeks before you noticed anything at 5
how long did the first 20kg take for people at the low doses
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
mine faded too
vials not pens here
i stayed on 1.7 for 18 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it, from memory
is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
anyone compared their 5 vial dosing against the pen increments
*Janoshik not the other one
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
did anybody find a difference between CPC and pharmacy at the same 15
whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
