licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose, your mileage will differ

- step_one_sian — update on the earlier thing compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2.4, which is one person and nothing more, n of 1 obviously 15:11
- VialBot — Verification log updated: MKM — evidence added, status unchanged. 15:36
- month_six_me — is 2.4 the top or do people go past it 16:43
- a1c_lag — sorry to jump in the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip 17:26
- triple_ag_tom — does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four 18:42
2.4 is the ceiling
is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
update on the earlier thing the plateau hit me at 4 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change, take that with a pinch of salt
whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
follow up went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
not the same trial
i stayed on 1.7 for 19 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
same dose day
right so brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
update on the earlier thing compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2.4, which is one person and nothing more, n of 1 obviously
my 10 vial in 2ml gives 2mg/ml so 1 lands on 40 units, thats why i picked that volume
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
the plateau hit me at 24 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
Verification log updated: MKM — evidence added, status unchanged.
right so the appetite effect faded for me around 12 months and going up fixed it for a while
i held at 2.4 for 8 months and it was the best decision i made
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgdoes moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
held there too
sorry to jump in the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
thats STEP 1
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
quick one anyone compared their 5 vial dosing against the pen increments
[edited]seven days ish
plateaus move
£38 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
€94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, ymmv
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step, not advice obviously
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
