Highlights from this day
  • thank_you_year_on — my resting rate went up 8 bpm in the first month and came back most of the way by month 1 21:25
  • alt_ast_ali — im at 0.5 and the appetite effect is stronger than i expected, normal 21:28
  • mid_week_mo — held at 15 for 21 months and it never plateaued for me, which i cant explain 22:00
  • mid_week_mo — i said 9 months ago that my heart rate had settled and it has stayed settled since 22:23
TE

update on the earlier thing Medutest came back 99 on one lot and 96.8 on the next from the same KP, both fine, ymmv

coming back to this the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it than anything else discussed here

📈6

reconstituted the 15 vial to 2mg/ml specifically so i could take 15 without measuring crumbs

quick one blood pressure stayed flat for me while heart rate moved, which i didnt expect, someone check my working
i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps

[edited]

low and slow

stepping in 5 increments instead of doubling is the only thing i would change if i started again

anyone logging resting heart rate on this

my resting heart rate is up about 7 bpm, did that settle for anyone

RR

GI was about the same as tirzepatide for me, the difference was how fast it arrived, from memory

21:19tenpence pinned a message to this channel

no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data

TY

my resting rate went up 8 bpm in the first month and came back most of the way by month 1

the glucagon arm is the mechanistic story for extra energy expenditure and its still a story to me

did the phase 2 result actually come in higher than the tirzepatide numbers

MW

unrelated but the half life supports weekly dosing and thats what ive done from the start

[edited]

settled by month three

mine went up too

energy expenditure isnt something i could feel, though my sleep tracker disagreed with me

there is no long term safety data, phase 2 and an ongoing phase 3 programme is what exists

anyone gone above 7.5 and what changed

🔥6🎉5
RR

buying this is a completely different risk conversation from the licensed compounds and that gets said too rarely

is the glucagon arm what people mean by the energy expenditure thing

MW

held at 15 for 21 months and it never plateaued for me, which i cant explain

❤️5🔥77

i log resting heart rate every morning because of this and its the one number i actually watch

TY

phase 2 doses are published and theyre not far off what people here run, coincidence rather than plan

TY

i was wrong to call the heart rate a non issue last year, enough people logged it that i changed my mind

RR

does the glucagon arm explain the heart rate or is that unrelated

phase 2 was still trending at the end which is why the phase 3 readout matters more than usual

MW

anyone reconstituting 20 vials to 8 so the steps come out smaller

MW

i said 9 months ago that my heart rate had settled and it has stayed settled since

baseline 58
wk 2 61
wk 4 64
wk 6 67
wk 8 66
wk 10 65 (held dose from wk 7)

anyone compared their Medutest purity across two different ERP lots

cant feel it honestly

coming back to this the purity spread across lots worries me more than the molecule does

appetite suppression at 2 was stronger than my tirzepatide experience at a comparable point

FS

right so the phase 2 weight result was larger than what the earlier agonists reported, in a smaller shorter trial

FS

research use only is on every vial and i treat it as exactly that, nobody here is prescribing

TF

low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom

nobody should read my log as a plan, im recording what i did and thats all it is

TF

unrelated but triple agonist, GLP-1 and GIP and glucagon. the glucagon arm is the part with no long history

SS

stopped for 19 months and restarted at half my old dose, the ramp was easier second time

SS

triple agonist meaning GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, have i got that right

SS

back after 24 months, has anything actually been published since
