yep 10 units

bac water or sterile water for something im going into weekly for 9 weeks
is it normal for the cake to look slightly collapsed on one side
do not add more bac water to an already reconstituted vial, you have lost track of the concentration, for what its worth
update on the earlier thing benzyl alcohol is what makes it bacteriostatic. it is about 0.9% typically
[edited]write the date on
update from 18 months ago: switched to a single concentration and have not miscalculated since
swirl dont shake
[edited]i swirl for about thirty seconds and then leave it. never had one fail to dissolve
thats 5mg/ml
20mg in 2ml is 10mg/ml. 1mg is 10 units, 2mg is 20 units, easy
pick the volume so your dose is a whole number of units. thats the entire trick
clear or bin it
foam is bad
too dilute imo
why does everyone say 2ml specifically and not 1ml
does benzyl alcohol matter if im finishing the vial in one go
genuine question 10mg in 2ml is 5mg/ml. so 0.5mg is 0.1ml which is 10 units on a u100
right so give it 3 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved
whats the smallest volume you would trust yourself to measure on a u100
i keep a spare vial of bac water in the fridge purely so i never rush the maths, thats one data point
nope, redo it
coming back after 11 months, has the pinned recon volume advice changed
one unit is 0.01ml
how long after reconstituting before its actually dissolved
you can absolutely just always use 2ml, and honestly most of us should
for the archive aim the diluent at the glass wall, not at the powder. it goes in gentler
dead space
check your maths
if the powder is on the stopper, tap it down before you add anything. it will still dissolve either way
for the archive if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7
anyone got a photo of what a properly dissolved vial looks like
i was wrong about this last year: it is fine to draw cold, it just stings more going in
nobody here should be telling you a dose. we can check your arithmetic, thats a different thing
took me a year to stop over-diluting. the measurement error at 4 units is worse than the convenience
how much do i lose to dead space with a 30G pin
if the powder is on the stopper, tap it down before you add anything. it will still dissolve either way
