pick the volume so your dose is a whole number of units. thats the entire trick

while im here my rule is one concentration for everything so i never have to think about it at 7am

give it 2 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved

PB

lyophilised powder is far more robust than people think. it is the solution that is fragile

does it matter if i inject the bac water straight at the powder

🧊2

check your maths

if you draw up with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one you lose a bit more to dead space

nobody here should be telling you a dose. we can check your arithmetic, thats a different thing, we shall see

quick one how do you all measure a half unit, or do you just not

10mg vial
  + 1.0ml  -> 10.0 mg/ml   0.5mg =  5u   1mg = 10u
  + 2.0ml  ->  5.0 mg/ml   0.5mg = 10u   1mg = 20u
  + 2.5ml  ->  4.0 mg/ml   0.5mg = 12.5u (dont)
  + 5.0ml  ->  2.0 mg/ml   0.5mg = 25u   1mg = 50u

the powder is stuck to the stopper, do i care

🧪2

the vacuum will pull it in. let it. fighting it is how you get a face full of aerosol, take that with a pinch of salt

nope, redo it

VV

if i add 5ml to a 30mg vial what concentration am i actually at

VV

it should be completely clear with no floaters. cloudy means stop
