Highlights from this day
  • thirty_min_wait — orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ, happy to be corrected 20:12
  • thirty_min_wait — back after 26 months, has anything changed on the oral side i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better 20:30
  • batch_bandit — ok so PIONEER was the original oral semaglutide programme and OASIS looked at the higher oral doses lost 25kg over 1 months on oral, slower than my injectable… 21:03
  • typosquat_tay — roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose, thats just me 21:41

i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better

TM

nobody should copy my morning routine, but the timer is the bit i would keep

VI

absorption is the variable, not the molecule. same tablet, different morning, different result

back after 26 months, has anything changed on the oral side
i use it because needles are a genuine problem for me, not because i think its better

TM

went back to injecting because the morning routine was too fragile around shift work

took 13 weeks before i saw anything on oral, roughly twice what the injection took me

BB

ok so PIONEER was the original oral semaglutide programme and OASIS looked at the higher oral doses
lost 25kg over 1 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway

BB

i do 6am with water and eat at 7, thats been my routine for 13 months

TT

follow up is orforglipron a peptide at all
plain water only, about half a glass, then nothing for 30 minutes. i follow it exactly

TT

roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose, thats just me

GB

quick one the non peptide orals are the interesting part of this channel now, not oral semaglutide

TT

genuine question splitting a dose made the absorption problem worse rather than better in my own log
