thinking of you
if all you managed today was the dose and some water, that counts and i mean that
coming back to this my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made
does the quiet in your head ever feel like a loss rather than a relief
hold on if you can
i keep waiting for it to stop working and the waiting itself is exhausting
be kind to yourself
did anyone else grieve food a bit
were not clinicians
glad youre back
grieving food is real. it was my hobby, my comfort and about half of my social life
somebody said the easy way thing to me and i just said it was not easy and changed the subject. it worked fine
im ashamed of needing a medication for this and i cant seem to shake it
the shame eased when i stopped thinking of it as a shortcut and started thinking of it as treatment
coming back to this nobody in this room thinks less of you for needing a medication. genuinely nobody
for the archive the plateau nearly ended it for me. what got me through was logging something other than my weight
it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things
the escalation nerves got smaller each time for me but they never went away entirely, ymmv
Recon calculator: 30mg in 3ml = 4mg/ml.
i spent twenty years negotiating with myself about food and then the negotiation just stopped, and that took months to sit with
thank you for saying it

youre not alone in that
i asked one relative to stop commenting. it was awkward for a week and it was worth it
flat is the word i used too. not sad exactly, just less colour in things for a while
coming back to this you are not the only person in here who has felt that, and i say that as somebody who was certain they were
you are not a fraud. you took a treatment and it worked. that really is the whole story
has anyone else felt oddly flat since the appetite went
the escalation nerves got smaller each time for me but they never went away entirely
comments about my body were harder to take than any side effect and nobody warns you about it
did the flatness lift on its own or did people have to do something about it
if you are struggling in a way this channel cannot hold, please talk to a professional. we are not a crisis service and we know it
it does lift
that was me too
[edited]coming back after 25 months to say thank you, is that alright to do in here
the quiet is strange isnt it
unrelated but nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it, anyway
while im here i read every twinge as something serious for the first three months and it does settle down, i have it written down somewhere
not the easy way
Inter-lab diff for lot KP-0925: 97.4% vs 98.1%. Within expected range.
is it normal to feel more emotional generally on this
quick one i told my family at month four rather than week one, and the timing is what made it go well, not advice obviously
*week 10 not week 6
mood dipped hard around week 32, did that lift for anyone
does anyone else find compliments make them want to hide
i see somebody professionally about the eating side of this and it is the best money i have spent on any of it
youre not a fraud
thats grief honestly
is anyone else more anxious about running out than about any side effect
motivation has collapsed since the scale stopped moving, has anyone been here
i spent twenty years negotiating with myself about food and then the negotiation just stopped, and that took months to sit with
i am kinder to myself now than i was when i was heavier, and that is not because of the number
has anyone found a way to celebrate that isnt about a number
that counts
comments about my body were harder to take than any side effect and nobody warns you about it
