Highlights from this day
  • mcg_not_mg — somebody thanked me a year later for something i barely remember saying, and that is why i still read this every day 01:10
  • triumph_watch — the fraud feeling faded for me somewhere around the point i had kept it off longer than i took to lose it 01:35
  • shame_and_meds — hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there, still working it out 01:37
  • rezept_rolf — i measured my waist and my walking pace during the plateau because both were still moving when the scale wasnt 02:23

grieving food is real. it was my hobby, my comfort and about half of my social life

somebody thanked me a year later for something i barely remember saying, and that is why i still read this every day

i told my family at month four rather than week one, and the timing is what made it go well

were not clinicians

the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal

comments about my body were harder to take than any side effect and nobody warns you about it

is anyone else more anxious about running out than about any side effect

the running out anxiety is real and worth naming. i keep a spare month in the fridge and i sleep better for it
