the dose escalation nerves, does anyone have a routine that helps with them

SS

unrelated but the running out anxiety is real and worth naming. i keep a spare month in the fridge and i sleep better for it, i think

hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there

we are a chat channel. good company, not clinicians, and it matters that we keep saying so, happy to be corrected

i cook more now than i used to, i just eat less of it, and that compromise saved that part of me

*that should say weekly

be kind to yourself

AT

is anyone else more anxious about running out than about any side effect

the quiet is strange isnt it

AT

i am kinder to myself now than i was when i was heavier, and that is not because of the number

LN

i get anxious the night before a dose increase, so i take it in the morning now and sleep first

the food noise going quiet is the thing people are least prepared for. i sat in the kitchen at 8pm not knowing what i was for

i spent twenty years negotiating with myself about food and then the negotiation just stopped, and that took months to sit with

unrelated but it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things

thinking of you

my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made

grieving food is real. it was my hobby, my comfort and about half of my social life

the escalation nerves got smaller each time for me but they never went away entirely

i read every twinge as something serious for the first three months and it does settle down, n of 1 obviously
