Highlights from this day
  • evidence_or_not — slightly off topic but appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for 16:53
  • moss_maintains — the muscle question is the one i wish i had taken seriously at month two instead of month twelve 17:01
  • pharmac_pen — unrelated but STEP 1 is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion 18:58
TT

resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous, take that with a pinch of salt
i came off for four months, put 49 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers

*that should say weekly

my range is 24 and i stopped calling anything inside that a regain

ST

if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room

🤝3🎉1
PF

holidays at maintenance are fine, i take the dose on the day and stop thinking about it

VB

Assay note: BCH lot E-2205 reported at 99.4% of label content.

SS

does anyone lift specifically to hold onto muscle now that theyre maintaining

SS

there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping

update on the earlier thing i lift twice a week specifically because losing fast without it cost me more than i was willing to lose

SS

a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved

NT

regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says

VB

Reminder for sol_sends: dose day is today. Set 7 days ago.

EO

slightly off topic but appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for

MM

genuine question two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation

while im here lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that up

the food noise came back at the lower dose, does it settle again

did anyone regret dropping the dose too fast

TO

i dropped from 10 to 15 for maintenance and held steady for fourteen months, thats just me

the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel
i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud

📈1

weekly not daily

cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower

set a trigger weight

i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud

NP

for the archive there is no trial on every ten days or every fortnight. people here do it and report on it and that is all we have

❤️1😂1
MM

i put 41 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round
i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud

i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan

same as a bp tablet

NP

update from 22 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal, from memory

is a maintenance dose a real clinical thing or something we invented between us

NP

i came off for four months, put 81 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers

thats FLOW

RR

unrelated but how much regain did people get in the first 25 months after stopping

PP

unrelated but STEP 1 is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion

RR

appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it, i have it written down somewhere

regain is expected

FN

coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month
