what happens if a submission gets lost in transit
#lab-requests 2026-06-28
- surpass_two — a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement the split works from about 2 people. below that everyone pays more… 19:51
- VialBot — Testing queue: 6 submissions open, 24 awaiting dispatch. 20:42
- auckland_aliquot — the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive, n of 1 obviously 20:48
- month_six_me — a pooled result tells you about the pool. it does not tell you about your vial 21:59
- food_noise_off — unrelated but powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control, take that with a pinch of salt 22:35
for the archive is there a submission going out this month and can i get in on it
a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement
the split works from about 2 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth
send powder
if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer, ill dig out the number
submissions go out blinded. the lab gets a code, not a supplier name. that removes one variable, it is not distrust
do i send a syringe or the whole vial
how many people do we need before the split is worth it
we publish the raw report. summaries hide the thing you needed to see
queue is posted
follow up whats the current turnaround, last one took 4 days
[edited]whats the split
quick one declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is
Testing queue: 6 submissions open, 24 awaiting dispatch.
slightly off topic but two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like
Janoshik has been the fastest for us. Medutest has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab
the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive, n of 1 obviously
update from 9 months ago: the blinding process is unchanged and it has held up fine
including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process, we shall see
coordinating this round
code compound submitted status
R-01 semaglutide 2026-02-14 reported
R-02 tirzepatide 2026-02-14 reported
R-03 retatrutide 2026-02-16 in queue
R-04 reference std 2026-02-16 reportedcode not name
is there a queue position i can check
dont send your only vial
how much sample does the lab need for purity plus quantity
i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones
we do not help with wording beyond that and the mods are strict about it
send a capped syringe with enough for a rerun. the minimum is never enough if they need to repeat it
a pooled result tells you about the pool. it does not tell you about your vial
is there a preferred lab for quantity specifically
do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt
are we blinding this one or does the lab know the source
unrelated but powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control, take that with a pinch of salt
quantity is the test worth paying for. purity is usually fine and fill usually is not
count me in
is it worth including a reference standard in the batch
