GG

how much sample does the lab need for purity plus quantity

👀9

can i add a second lot to the same submission

TA

update from 9 months ago: the blinding process is unchanged and it has held up fine

TA

declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is

label the syringe

coordinating this round

thats the turnaround

the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive

publish the raw

dont send your only vial

genuine question is there a preferred lab for quantity specifically

OD

code not name

is there a submission going out this month and can i get in on it

LM

what compound should we prioritise for the next round

LM

do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt

EE

i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests

AP

i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing

AP

while im here if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer, happy to be corrected

TA

turnaround has been between 24 days and twice that depending on the queue

RS

quick one send a capped syringe with enough for a rerun. the minimum is never enough if they need to repeat it

chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup

💀11👀1📉3

follow up including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process

[edited]

the split works from about 5 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth

for the archive do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder

OD

we publish the raw report. summaries hide the thing you needed to see

sorry to jump in how do we stop the pool telling us about the pool instead of my vial

*sorry, WWB

BS

a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement

two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like
i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing
