update from 9 months ago: switched to a fixed rotation and the site reactions stopped
push slowly. fast is what causes the ache afterwards
coming back after 4 months, has the pinned technique guide changed

slightly off topic but do not aspirate for a subcutaneous injection, there is nothing to aspirate for
if you are getting a lot of bruising, look at how fast you are pushing before you blame the needle, i could be wrong
