- no_appetite_nia — coffee on an empty stomach with slowed gastric emptying is a rough combination. i eat something first now 19:03
- rory_reships — is cold food easier for anyone else or is that just me 19:18
- rory_reships — i stopped counting calories and started counting protein, and one number is much easier than two, i could be wrong 19:20
- rory_reships — meal prep that survives early satiety, what actually works 19:28
- u100_pat — i front load protein. 40 grams at breakfast because by the evening i cannot face any of it 20:33
alcohol hits me twice as hard now, has anyone else had that
1.6 per kg
i weigh my protein sources for a week every few months to recalibrate, because the estimates drift badly
protein per meal matters more than per day once you are eating tiny amounts. i aim for 30 grams a sitting
two sessions a week
bioimpedance is a mood ring
target weight 75kg
1.6 g/kg = 120 g/day
1.8 g/kg = 135 g/day
spread over 4 feeds = 30-34 g each
which with no appetite is the actual problemdo i need creatine or is that a completely different hobby
the calorie floor question is the right one to ask. i would not go under 1200 without somebody keeping an eye on me
cold food is easier
unrelated but two proper resistance sessions a week is what the room settled on. three if you can manage it
1.6 grams per kg is the number most of us landed on. at 80kg that is 128 grams a day

which with no appetite is the actual problemwhats everyone doing for fibre because im struggling badly with it
creatine has nothing to do with any of this and i still take it. five grams, cheap, well studied
coming back to this dexa twice a year if you can afford it. the cheap scale will tell you a new story every day and none of them are true

sarcopenia at my age, is that a real risk if im losing 8 in 24 months
cold food is easier. i eat a lot of things at fridge temperature now and i cannot explain why that helps
i cook normally and freeze it in small pots. the food is unchanged, the portion is the only difference
how do you get 30 grams of protein into a breakfast you can actually finish
