Highlights from this day
  • nordic_price_nils — i stopped counting calories and started counting protein, and one number is much easier than two 22:05
  • nordic_price_nils — i weigh my protein sources for a week every few months to recalibrate, because the estimates drift badly 22:08
  • taper_or_not — alcohol hits me twice as hard now, has anyone else had that two proper resistance sessions a week is what the room settled on. three if you can manage it 22:26
  • two_four_ceiling — sorry to jump in coffee on an empty stomach is making me feel awful, is that the drug or is that just coffee 22:28
  • taper_or_not — right so cold food is easier. i eat a lot of things at fridge temperature now and i cannot explain why that helps 23:44
NP

alcohol hitting harder is one of the most consistent reports in this channel. two drinks feels like five

please dont go lower

whats a realistic calorie floor before it becomes an actual problem

a shake is food

target weight 75kg
1.6 g/kg = 120 g/day
1.8 g/kg = 135 g/day
spread over 4 feeds = 30-34 g each
which with no appetite is the actual problem

i lift three times a week and my lifts dropped about ten percent while losing, then came back up

the risk with fast loss is lean mass, and the two things that touch it are protein and resistance work
