i drifted from sunday to wednesday over a year and only noticed when i checked the log
#dosing-titration 2025-08-14
- triple_ag_tom — split dosing has no trial behind it. people here do it and report on it, thats all 21:41
- VialBot — Verification log updated: MKM — evidence added, status unchanged. 21:55
- logrotate — i went from 1.7 to 5 and honestly could not tell the difference in appetite 22:19
- split_dose_sam — is there a trial anywhere that studied twice weekly, or is it all anecdote 22:53
- u100_pat — sorry to jump in stepping back down on purpose is a completely reasonable move and this channel should say so more often 23:20

U-100 syringe: 1 unit = 0.01 ml
10u = 0.10 ml
25u = 0.25 ml
50u = 0.50 ml
100u = 1.00 ml
mg drawn = ml drawn x mg/mlhow do you tell a plateau from just being at your set point
anyone tracked whether a smaller more frequent dose changed their side effects
hold
Verification log updated: MKM — evidence added, status unchanged.
my rule: if a side effect is still there at day five, i hold. if it clears by day three, i step
the ladder in the trials is a starting point, not a schedule you owe anyone
held for months
if the current dose is still working, going up is spending headroom you might want later
is week 28 too early to be thinking about the next step
anyone here split their weekly into two and would they do it again
if it "stopped working after four days" that is almost never pharmacokinetics
i went from 1.7 to 5 and honestly could not tell the difference in appetite
came down from a treatment dose to maintenance over about three months and it was uneventful, take that with a pinch of salt
after a gap of more than about three weeks i restart one rung lower. thats my own rule, not advice, happy to be corrected
i jumped a rung once to catch up after a supply gap and it was a bad week. would not repeat
*that should say weekly
appetite returning at the end of the week is extremely common and is not the dose failing
steady state is 5 weeks
a missed week does not reset you, but going straight back to the top dose after a gap is how people get floored
my titration ladder took 20 months to climb and i would do it slower again
dose day drift is mostly harmless with a weekly compound, but pick a day and defend it, thats one data point
go slower
my dose day has drifted 2 days later over 10 months, does it matter
does a missed week reset anything or do you just carry on
two weeks is nothing
is there a trial anywhere that studied twice weekly, or is it all anecdote
too early imo
update on the earlier thing if you are going up because the scale stalled for two weeks, wait. two weeks is noise
i jumped a rung once to catch up after a supply gap and it was a bad week. would not repeat
Reminder for logrotate: dose day is today. Set 2 days ago.
small steps are better than big ones and the only reason people take big ones is impatience
sorry to jump in stepping back down on purpose is a completely reasonable move and this channel should say so more often
i hold for two months minimum before i decide a dose has stopped doing anything
end of week thing
