Highlights from this day
  • nate_nights — amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist 23:08
  • chlorhex — stopped for 11 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose 23:30
  • lot_number_lou — slightly off topic but dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 12 months, appetite held but weight barely moved 23:34
  • chlorhex — the fullness effect hasnt faded over 26 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve 23:40
  • group_buy_gwen — the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent 23:53

amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist

lost 68lb over 8 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it

cagrisema thats it

CH

ok so nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like

the reason nausea reads differently is timing, mine arrived on the second day rather than the first

i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which

the nausea felt different rather than less, more fullness and less of the queasy wave

stopped for 11 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose

held at 1.7 for 8 months on monotherapy before i touched it again, we shall see

REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work

CH

dosing them on different days made no difference i could detect

the fullness effect hasnt faded over 26 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve

the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair

the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent

combination for me
