Highlights from this day
  • holly_holds — is the slower titration because of nausea or something else 22:43
  • cass_cagri — noticed something around week 26 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to 22:44
  • van_isle_vial — two Medutest results on the same CPC lot came back 97.4 and 99, closer than i expected 23:15

anyone got two Janoshik results on the same HJ lot for this

amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist
combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere

REDEFINE is the trial

HH

the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule, thats just me

CC

noticed something around week 26 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to

CC

£120 for a 10 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses, ill dig out the number

dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 22 months, appetite held but weight barely moved

😂2

titrating dead slow

SS

nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like, ymmv

the nausea felt different rather than less, more fullness and less of the queasy wave, thats just me

dosing them on different days made no difference i could detect
i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 23 months im still sceptical, just less so

how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy

[edited]

slightly off topic but back after 19 months, is monotherapy still a minority thing here

VI

genuine question lost 61lb over 2 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it

ZZ

the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent

cagrisema thats it

monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work

changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing

VI

monotherapy question, did appetite move for you without a GLP-1 alongside

update on the earlier thing did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone

two Medutest results on the same CPC lot came back 97.4 and 99, closer than i expected

quick one did the nausea feel different to you or just less

held at 2.4 for 7 months on monotherapy before i touched it again

combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere

DD

i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something

combination for me
