Highlights from this day
  • step_one_sian — is there a reason people titrate this over more weeks than the others 16:21
  • dose_down_dara — you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could, take that with a pinch of salt CagriSema is cagrilintide with… 18:35
  • gradient_greg — monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected 20:00
SO

i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something

ST

REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work

dosing them on different days made no difference i could detect

is there a reason people titrate this over more weeks than the others

🤝1🔥16

held at 1 for 2 months on monotherapy before i touched it again

amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist

SO

the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent

if youre used to GLP-1 titration steps this feels absurdly cautious and i still do it that way

YV

for the archive the combination is the thing with trial data behind it, monotherapy in here is mostly us guessing

how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy

SO

monotherapy question, did appetite move for you without a GLP-1 alongside

GG

unrelated but weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit

YV

anyone dosing this on a different day to their semaglutide

DD

i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 11 months im still sceptical, just less so

TT

nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like

GG

the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule

monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected

GG

i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me
