slower than the others
#cagrilintide 2025-08-22
- luerlok — anyone got two PeptideMeter results on the same TFC lot for this 19:08
- HPLC_Hank — held at 2 for 2 months on monotherapy before i touched it again 19:59
- VialBot — Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way. 20:56
- provincial_pat — amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist 21:26
- van_isle_vial — has REDEFINE reported or are people quoting earlier work 22:20
coming back to this added it to an existing retatrutide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible
$240 for a 2 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses
went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information
ok so anyone dosing this on a different day to their retatrutide
slightly off topic but monotherapy question, did appetite move for you without a GLP-1 alongside
*PeptideMeter not the other one
cant separate them
thats the phase 3 one
monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected
lost 26lb over 17 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it
separate days
titrating dead slow
anyone got two PeptideMeter results on the same TFC lot for this
held mine a while
nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like, happy to be corrected
different not less
does the fullness effect fade the way appetite suppression does
weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit
dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 5 months, appetite held but weight barely moved
combination for me
held at 2 for 2 months on monotherapy before i touched it again
the fullness effect hasnt faded over 10 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve
underwhelming honestly
fullness rather than nausea
changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing, ask me again in a month
you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could, take that with a pinch of salt
i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something
Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way.
for the archive how do people separate which of the two is doing what in a combination
slightly off topic but did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone
the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent, ymmv
stopped for 15 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose
amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist
is the nausea profile genuinely different or am i imagining it
CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it
is the slower titration because of nausea or something else
has REDEFINE reported or are people quoting earlier work
i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me
stopped for 3 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose, n of 1 obviously
the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair
