the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance

blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence

VO

follow up went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win, we shall see

FM

a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it

SURMOUNT-1 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better

my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same

does anyone else keep one pair of old jeans purely as a measuring device

CC

i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny

thats a big drop

II

my knees stopped hurting around 21 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage

II

26 down in 13 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

II

how long did it take before you believed it was actually working
i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust

MM

blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets

MM

cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night

MM

i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything

still here at month 14

i was down 41 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure

MM

half a stone in 13 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening

MM

congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother

CC

cpap pressure got turned down last week, has that happened for anyone
