no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do

- sgp_subq — what non scale thing surprised you most 11:26
- seizure_letter — i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything 14:08
- underfill_uma — right so week three nearly finished me and im at month 15 now, does anyone want the boring version SURMOUNT-1 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had… 14:22
blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets
keep going
thats a big drop
love this channel
congrats
the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going
repeat sleep study came back better, has anyone else moved out of the range they were in
what non scale thing surprised you most
i nearly quit too
follow up honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug
slightly off topic but down 38 and the scale hasnt moved in a fortnight, do i still get to call it a win
ring fitting is the best one
good bp move
is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect
anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself
brilliant a1c
quick one a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it, anyway
still here at month 14
well done
for the archive the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part
months not weeks
hit 3 down this morning and im sat here not really feeling anything, is that normal
how do you celebrate this without it being about food
[edited]thats not showing off
the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was
careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two
is it weird that the clothes size mattered more to me than the number did
thats brilliant
[edited]thats the win
how do you say youre pleased in here without it sounding like an advert
unrelated but how long did it take before you believed it was actually working
i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything
my wedding ring fits again after 23 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight
bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting
right so week three nearly finished me and im at month 15 now, does anyone want the boring version
SURMOUNT-1 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better
went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win
*that should say weekly
size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop
the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available
down 12 since 22 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at
kept 29 of it off for 8 months now and that is the number i am actually proud of
the stairs thing yeah
slow is fine
i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny
i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust
youre allowed to be pleased
half a stone in 23 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening
sorry to jump in down 28 and my resting heart rate dropped 7 bpm, related or not
update on the earlier thing first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point
is there a point where you stop weighing daily
congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother
does anyone have a milestone they were embarrassed to admit mattered
i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls
i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did
i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about
[edited]23 down in 6 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale, someone check my working
somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me
does the room want the numbers or just the story
